從 2008 第二季後主機板業界開始流行起 MicroATX 尺寸
配合 Gaming 市場定位在中高階效能的主機板風潮
針對玩家或者超頻使用者的效能追求市場

有許多玩家搭配 MicroATX 小機殼
打造達到擁有小體積且效能兼顧的個人主機

身為主機板龍頭的 ASUS 當然也不可能放棄這個市場
先後成立了 R.O.G 旗下小板子 GENE 品牌後
繼第一彈 Rampage II GENE 獲得好評後
緊接著順勢推出 Maximus II GENE

Maximus II GENE 較容易吸引人的特色原因

通常是建議先下無卡勾的一方再下去有卡勾，輕鬆不費力
反之要拿起時也是先從有卡勾的地方拿起再從溝槽抽出，怎麼來怎麼去

Maximus II GENE 另外一個好處是
主機板上設計搭載了高達 5 組的 PWM 溫控風扇插座
當搭配機殼搭載使用時不必因風扇組數過多音量困擾

有著精緻的設計感以及優越的性能
雖然定價方面已經是直指玩家而來

這是ASUS的高級品牌
果然用料及配置都經過精心設計
和一般等級的主機板就是有差
不過價格就.......嘿嘿
